About · Tenet
Why we built Tenet.
In 2026, the mid-market company at 1,000 to 3,000 employees operates with 40+ SaaS applications per employee, a 10-14-tool AI footprint that grew entirely outside IT approval, and a VP People, CIO, and CISO who have never once agreed on what the audit trail for a terminated employee actually looks like.
The consequence is not hypothetical. Ghost-account rates on terminated employees concentrate at 20-35% at the 90-day mark without automation. State privacy laws — California’s CCPA, Colorado’s AI Act, New York’s SHIELD Act — now demand per-subject evidence trails. The EU AI Act Article 26 arrives August 2, 2026. SOC 2 Type II renewal cycles are quietly tightening their access-review sampling from per-system to per-employee.
The incumbent answer has been: buy SailPoint (upmarket, $500k+ implementation), buy a SaaS management platform (Zluri, BetterCloud, Torii — no shadow-AI, no state-privacy audit layer), or run the whole thing on spreadsheets (this is still the modal answer). None of these treat HR, IT, and Finance as one orchestration problem.
Tenet does. We’re the orchestration layer that sits on top of your existing HRIS (Rippling, BambooHR, Workday) and IAM (Okta, Entra, Google Workspace), discovers the long tail of SaaS and AI tools that never went through a ticket, and captures every grant, every revocation, every policy decision as an immutable audit event formatted for SOC 2, EU AI Act Article 26, ISO 42001, and your US state-privacy law stack.
Who we are
Tenet is a venture of Grindworks Studio, a portfolio of NA B2B ventures launched April 2026. Grindworks also operates Veladon (AI governance DLP for regulated mid-market) and Prova (agentic SOX continuous assurance for PE portcos and microcap public companies), and the preceding Practiq (AI for professional service firms — accounting, law, HR, consulting).
Tenet is led by SD Keum, who previously built and shipped B2B infrastructure products in the NA mid-market. You can reach the team at seungdo@grindworks.ai — responses from a human within 48 hours, typically sooner.
How we build
Tenet is under active development as a 28-day market-validation cycle (see our studio methodology). The waitlist is real — we respond to each signup by hand, we take design-partner interviews seriously, and the audit- trail format we’re building is shaped by every interview conversation. If you’re a VP People, CIO, or CISO at a 500-5,000 employee mid-market company and you want to shape this before it ships, join the waitlist and we’ll be in touch within 48 hours.
